BIRTHDAY SPOT N.2: About 10 days ago, I had a ride, which is a tradition I keep alive every year, with a family friend's 1988 red Alfa Romeo Spider, that was gifted to him by his father, for his 50th birthday, some years ago.
During the ride we passed a market selling vinyls and he told me that he wanted to check it later, and we did while traveling back to my home after drinking something and eating an ice-cream in a cafe on Turin's hills, but when we finally reached the market my eyes noticed there was something interesting...a McLaren Artura! A huge surprise as even if that place is not far from the city centre it's still not where you would expect to find a parked supercar, but luckily the owner liked vinyls too haha, it's also important to say that he was very kind and waited until I took all the pics I wanted before leaving.
After checking all Arturas spotted in Italy (but also nearby countries like Monaco, France and Switzerland) I can say that this is almost for sure only the second Artura on Italian plates posted on AG, the fun fact is that this is actually the second one delivered in Turin, after a light blue one that I have sadly never seen.
The ''Siouxsie'' written under the McLaren badge on the rear probably refers to Siouxsie Sioux, a female British rock singer, so maybe the owner was looking from a vinyl related to her in the market.
